For every $10 the government spends, they tax for $6 and borrow $4.
$4 of every $10 goes to run the government, $6 goes to entitilement programs (aka vote buying because the people who receive the most benefits pay the least --or nothing in taxes)
If we were to completely shut down government--EVERYTHING---we would STILL HAVE TO BORROW MONEY TO PAY FOR ENTITLEMENTS. OUCH!
