Have you ever heard of “Stop & Frisk”? I don’t live in a metropolitan area so I was not familiar with the practice of cops just stopping folks on the street and frisking them until I read TSA Out of Our Pants latest post: (Excuse the language, here, but NY’s Finest evidently don’t care) READ: NYPD to Teen: Shut your F*#cking Mouth Before I slap you.
I’m reeling.
And then there’s Obama recruiting (well, not really recruiting, more like violating copyright laws) Big Bird to make Romney himself look bad. Read about it in Voting American’s latest post: Big Bird and AARP Flip Off Obama’s campaign ads.
I’m shaking my head. How about you?
Thank you for the link back Freedom. Shaking your head. Obama’s campaign is crumbling all around him and now even Big Bird has given him the Bird. lol, I crack myself up sometimes.
You crack me up, too. LOL.
This is not the way America is supposed to be. Ours is becoming a police state on so many levels and only a few complain and no one listens. Our citizens have the votes in our cities to stop this if they have the will.
It’s a lack of education, too, COF. Too many people don’t think they can fight city hall, much less when it involves law enforcement. You are right. We shouldn’t roll over and play dead when it comes to our constitutional rights.
Really sorry about the kid getting frisked. Some police do get out of hand. I’ve experienced it in Norfolk. On the other hand it’s a bit dicey out there for the police in some areas.
Big Bird needs to get plucked. Sesame Workshop let the ads sit out there for a week before they requested a halt. Long enough to test the water IMO. Perhaps there is less empathy for the million dollar industry that is Sesame Workshop than they hoped. They certainly don’t need our money. See: http://www.worldtribune.com/2012/10/09/big-bird-is-a-tool-for-the-democrats-yes-but-also-for-the-chinese-regime/
Interesting story at that link, Sara. Yes, they didn’t react too quickly over on Sesame Street, did they?
Please don’t tell me that you or yours got frisked in Norfolk. I know it’s “dicey” but there IS that “Probable cause” thing. And it’s can’t be ’cause I don’t like the looks of you.
And then there is my best laugh lately, apparently Obama thought he won the debate, amazing amount of hubris in that fool.
