Obama’s Plan to Combat Rising Gas Prices
“Use less oil.” That’s what President Obama told a reporter yesterday when questioned about gas prices that have gone up 47 cents a gallon in a month.
And of course, the fearless leader of the free world leads by example by flying Air Force One for a weekend of golf with Tiger Woods while Michelle and the girls flew the smaller Air Force Two for a weekend of Skiing.
How different things COULD have looked at the gas pump right now if Americans had any sense and not re-elected the “let them use less oil” president. The new Canadian pipeline would be underway….stringent EPA regulations would be in overhaul mode opening up new American oil and gas exploration and new refineries. And gas prices would be tumbling, not rising.
But no. You got what you voted for. Consider the consequences of your vote every time that gas dial spins.
Have you noticed the Media is openly saying the President has no control over gas prices and yet when gas prices hit $4.00 under Bush they accused him of supporting his Big Oil Friends in Texas. Hypocrites all of them and we have only the media to blame for protecting this bogus President.
If he has “no control” over gas prices why is he shoving taxpayer dollars at expensive Green projects? If he has “no control” why didn’t he relinquish control and let the pipeline construction go forward? If he has “no control” why is his administration continuing to deny new drilling on federal land?
Obama is ALL about control. And you are correct, his greatest area of control is the Media. They are puppets on a string. I don’t know how they can sleep at night.
Yep, use less oil, so we can go back to 10% unemployment (or whatever the real number might be), America was built on energy: human, animal, and chemical, it why we outproduced the world, and why that is changing.
If you’re not driving to work, you’re using less oil.

Obama clearly has a plan. When everyone is unemployed, they won’t need to spend as much on gasoline.
Exactly right, COF. Too bad so many folks have to heat their homes with oil products. The next thing he’ll say is “Wear more warm clothes.”
